A long time passed. And one day, the Judge found The Batter aka Hugo's father, who was being guided by a Puppeteer on a mission to purify the world. The Batter then informed the Judge of his objective, who decided to help the mysterious entity, aiding the Batter and providing tutorials on combat and puzzles. After leaving Zone 0, the Batter went from zone to zone. Killing its guardians and purifying it, which consequently killed all of its inhabitants. After reaching Zone 2, The Batter came face-to-face with The Judge's missing brother, Valérie, or at least his body. The feline tried to eat Japhet; however, as Japhet could neither be killed nor escape, the guardian of Zone 2 killed and took control of its new host. Forcing The Batter to kill Valérie, so that his purification mission could be completed. leaving The Judge to reconsider everything The Batter had done after grieving for his brother for a while. The Batter continued on his mission, killing Enoch, the Queen, and finally Hugo. And just before he was about to flick the switch and put an end to the world, The Judge confronted him after realizing that The Batter all along had been a genocidal murderer, offering The Player an option: join his side and stop The Batter once and for all. Sadly, the player refused, even though the feline tried to fight back, he failed and was killed, as the purifier smashed his head with a bat without mercy. As the Batter flicked the switch, everything came to an end. The entire world that has been built in the ruins of the old is gone in an instant. However if you do choose to join The Judge, The Batter's reign of terror comes to a end but not without a price, as the world was slowly dying so, in the end, was it even worth it? |
