Adam vs The Devil (Hazbin Hotel vs Snapcube)

"Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to cast a stone." -Jesus Christ

Adam, Father of Humanity!

The Devil, from Da Bible!

Dating back to the old days of the Garden of Eden, mankind was tempted by the devil. For the sinful nature of humankind allowed them to be convinced. The first human, in fact, also happened to be the first sinner. Well...maybe not the first, but you get what I mean. As soon as Adam bit that fruit, humanity was not the same. But what if both the sinner and the bringer of it were a bit more...vulgar, a bit more entitled? Just all-around manchildren. Who would emerge victorious? TIME TO FIND OUT!

Before We Start…
Happy Spooky Season, Everyone! Today we have a very...unique matchup. Hazbin Hotel and its spin-off, Helluva Boss, will be used, as well as any social media statements regarding Adam. I wasn't so sure at first, but since The Pilot was directly stated to be soft canon, that's also fair game. The Helluva Boss Pilot on the other hand is considered non-canon. There are two comics that were removed from the website, so, including them might be debatable but for the sake of this we are allowing it. It's not like they have much anyways.

On the Devil's side, all main fandubs made by Snapcube will be used, including BTDubs. There was a Sonic X dub, if you remember that but surprisingly there was no relevant feats to this Blog and it doesn't seem to be canon anyways. you should still go watch it since it's a neat piece of trivia. We do have a little something regarding gameplay feats that aren't shown in fandubs, but we will explain that later. Lythero videos containing RTFD VAs won't be used obviously, just because Alfred is in those videos it doesn't mean it's the same Eggman as fandub. The same goes to other Snapcubes Streams like Unleashed. Fandub only.

WARNING: This Blog is being written before Hazbin Hotel Season 2, it was supposed to release waaay before it. but we ran into some problems and had to start from scratch. With that being said, no scenes used in trailers will be used here due to not having enough context to support them being included.

Background
Adam
Once upon a time in a realm far beyond our pre-dated time, there were the seraphim, beings of pure light that protected a beautiful golden city of a world called Heaven that shielded angels from the forces of evil and sin. One day, however, the seraphim began to expand the universe to grant the gift of life, and they gave birth to two important figures, Lilith and Adam. These two didn't exactly have the healthiest relationship, as Adam tried to force Lilith to submit to him despite both being created as equals.

Lilith ran away and found new love with a seraphim known as Lucifer, who shared their understanding of rebellion against those who forced them to hide their passion. Leading to them finding Eve to bestow the fruit of knowledge, but the consequences were massive as it spread evil to the dust that reshaped into earth, breaking the order the seraphim were trying to maintain as the new realm known as Hell was made, after casting Lucifer and Lilith to Hell, as one fell to a deep depression while the other gave deep empowerment to her new creation to grow strong enough to take back what was stolen from her.

The seraphim needed a way to stop or at the very least delay the inevitable takeover Lilith was making; they needed a team to take down the sinners before they got too powerful and so banded the newly made exorcists, led by Adam. After dying and getting to heaven by special treatment, he gave Heaven a pretty bad name with his vulgarity, after Lilith disappeared, the slaughter of souls became less about justice and more about entertainment for himself and his second in command, Lute. But one day he had to go to a boring meeting with a sparkling light to heaven named Charlie, Adam was being a dick as usual, but the question of not having to kill souls that could be redeemed got his attention since all he’s ever done in his entire life is to kill the sinners, so he decides to push the deadline early to personally deal with her idea of "redemption." Adam was sent to trial to prove sinners cannot be redeemed vs Charlie, who claims the opposite.

He was struggling since Charlie did get her point across, but blackmail beats logic, and he did so to Charlie by revealing the girl she was dating was actually an angel and got the win over Charlie. After getting a silent response from Sera, he was prepared to kill everyone in that hotel for making his power and opinions be put on trial but was not expecting the sinners he’s killed for billions of years to actually kill his own kind with his own weapons!

After meeting with the radio demon turned fraud demon, he met face-to-face with Charlie, who was for the first time actually able to hurt him. He lunged into a real fight for the first time and won but was out of breath and pissed off until Lucifer knocked him off his place. Adam was confused, angry, and tired and could not stand up against Lucifer and was eventually overpowered by Lucifer, which broke Adam into a mental breakdown until he finally perished by nifty. Adam died slowly, but he at least got to see Lute one last time, and for the first time, the Dickmaster showed a genuine smile. Adam died as he lived, a bratty, arrogant manchild, but at least he seemed to care about the one person who he considered a friend.

The Devil
"Come with me. Come steal candy from babies and small businesses! I'm not talking about Walmart."
In a world of mad Twitter users, hot sauce-striped hedgehogs, and Adam Sandler wannabes, everything is madness without order to decide if you are as peaceful as our fox boy tails, as evil as the gamer incel memphiles… And whatever Amy is. as we know, Jesus brings eternal peace for doing good deeds like destroying military equipment and killing Sonic the Hedgehog. But for people who rack up enough points, they are sent to endless hot-stick-poking torture by our soon-to-be tormentor, THE DEVIL!

After waiting 50 years for his best friend and ultimate streamer to be created by Gerald Robotnik, named Shadow the Hedgehog, he was sent to convince Shadow to sin and finally get him to be his middle manager. The devil was kind of pissed off that Shadow didn’t do any good sinning; he followed Shadow around and kept explaining how to sin so that Shadow could finally join him in hell. Even giving him free kills with Black Bull, making an alien army, and going to Chuck E. Cheese, Shadow still beat him up every chance, destroyed hell, which the devil needed to fix, ignored his Twitter and Twitch messages, and left him in the dust every day.

He finally understood Shadow cared more about being the president to cause problems; he finally understood Shadow wasn’t going to be his friend and decided to unfollow Shadow’s social media and not vote for him in the next candidacy. So, the Devil decided to activate his BIG FUCKING THING to fuck up some city in a crash out. But after Gerald Robotnik himself revealed that he really made Shadow just to roast the Devil in a prank that he thought would be really funny.

Satan's goal was a big lie, as Shadow used his powers to activate the powers of the US president, beat up him and his hyper-intelligent dog, and teleport them and his BIG FUCKING THING to get pissed on by the laser piss. Humiliated and soaked with urine, the Devil learned an important lesson that day: never meet your heroes because they might just be a wife-fucking, hot-topic, piss-loving hedgehog.

Experience And Skill
Adam
Reputation
Due to being the first man, Adam was spoiled rotten by all of heaven, which most likely led to him being…such a fucking dickhead. Being granted very high positions in heaven, he's above any and all consequences, from freely swearing in heaven to breaking the one rule he's supposed to follow, which is to not talk about the extermination, and just all-around being very rude. He was also voted "Biggest Dick in Heaven". Impressive.

Leadership & Battle Experience
Adam has an entire army at his disposal to carry out the endless killing of sinners. This may come as a surprise, but Adam isn't that bad of a boss; most of his troops seem very trusting of him, especially Lute, his right-hand woman. But that doesn't mean he's afraid of getting his hands dirty; he has killed many Sinners by himself and even defeated Charlie and Alastor

Also, considering he's a high rank in heaven's army, he most likely received some kind of training, surprisingly he is able to plan who to attack, when he recognized that Alastor was responsible for creating the force field around the Hotel, he went after him immediately. He also doesn't play around much, when Alastor started giving him problems he oneshot him and when Pentious was charging his laser, Adam disintegrated his ship without thinking twice.

Musical Talent
Adam had a lot of time to find new hobbies in Heaven, with eternal life and all, but he's especially skilled in playing his guitar and singing; he might have also been part of a band at one point, and as we see in "Gravity" his room is full of discs that may hint at his musical career.

Blackmail
Blackmailing. One might consider it a cowardly tactic used by fools, but Adam doesn't really give a shit and blackmailed Vaggie due to her secret of being an angel.

The Devil
Gaslighting
The Devil is a mastermind in gaslighting, gatekeeping, and girlbossing. Well, maybe not these last two. You see, I was gaslighting you this whole time, and you fell right into the palm of my hand. But even if my gaslighting techniques are, of course, amazing. The Devil is still one of the best to ever do it; he could even gaslight SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. Can you believe it?

Ragebaiting
Ah…ragebait, truly an art form that only the strongest of trolls can possess. In the Devil's case, he's always either one of the two. Getting ragebaited or ragebaiting. Mostly the first, but he has shown himself capable of getting on people's nerves, whether intentional or not. Such as when he appeared out of the ground after being "killed" by Shadow to mess with him or when he faked his death to embarrass Shadow.

Equipment
Adam
Exorcist Armor
Like every other exorcist in heaven's army, Adan wears armor to protect himself, but instead of only wearing it in battle, he wears it EVERYWHERE. It's like it's surgically attached to him, not to mention the robe most likely being long to hide how much of a fatass he is. At least it's stylish.

Guitar-Axe
Y'know, Adam could have chosen anything as his demon-slaying weapon; hell, he could have chosen a holy bazooka. But I'm glad he went with the Guitar Axe; it has style, and it's not only stylish af, but it can also be used in long ranges to summon beams of holy light as seen above. The guitar itself is an angelic weapon, which means it can be used to bypass the immortality sinners normally have.

Charging beams of holy light from the guitar seems to temporarily increase the size of the instrument, but it does revert to its normal size eventually. Another attribute Angelic steel seems to have is their ability to nullify Sinner's Magic. During his fight with Alastor, Adam delivered a heavy blow, which incapacitated his magic for a few seconds. While you might think this is mostly due to Alastor's cane, Helluva Boss further confirms it by having Striker nullify Stolas's magic with a blessed rope, to the point he can't even try to escape.

Hologram
Meetings are very boring; they take too long, they are stressful, and it's even worse when you have to have one with a goody-two-shoes. Which is why Adam discovered the best method to be there without actually being there: holograms! Even if you can't touch Adam's Hologram, his Hologram can interact and touch you, like when he held Charlie's arm.

Drone
Adam and his exorcists have a drone that is able to scan and identify dead bodies; that's kinda it.

The Devil
BIG FUCKING THING
During his valid crashout, the Devil summoned a big-ass comet from his space because…? Idfk lol. Though this isn't a normal comet, it's absolutely massive, towering over an entire city. It can also sprout roots and attach itself to the ground; eventually this comet met a sad fate by being destroyed by Eggman's piss. R.I.P. BIG FUCKING THING.

Sin Points
Sin Points are exactly what you are thinking: they are points about your sins, with each point being equal to a feet underground. You can get these by doing a variety of things, such as getting an internship at Disney, killing someone who donates to charity or just killing someone with a high sin point count. Though it's easier said than done since a lot of actions aren't really considered sinful. The more sin points someone has, the stronger they are. Sin Points also present some kind of reality-warping properties; with Sin Points, Eggman was able to turn the sky into a Windows desktop background and even kill a tree, giving them spooky faces. Ohhh, very scary. During his fight with the dog, Shadow's sins have shown to be converted into energy brusts and fucking, DBZ Ki Blasts. And due to being the Devil, he likely has a large quantity of points to his name.

Chuck E. Cheese Equipment
Not that useful, but after The Devil and Shadow went to Chuck E. Cheese, they won a bunch of random shit and toys. This is truly what the Devil needs to take down Adam once and for all.
  • Tickets: Chuck E. Cheese's main form of currency, they can be obtained upon playing games and can be used to redeem candy, collectables, and toys from the Prize Corner. One can wish to obtain such wealth.
  • Sticky Hand: a stretchy rubber toy shaped like a hand that can stick to walls and the floor and even pick up light objects. I actually used to have one of those; they are pretty fun.
  • Parachuting Trooper Dude made outta Plastic: Ah, them's the brakes, pal!
Hot Sticks
The Devil spends a majority of his time poking people in hell with these, y'know. You have probably seen some demon pull this shit in some cartoon, poking people with sticks and shit. It happened in that one Tom & Jerry episode.

The Chaos Emeralds
The Chaos Emeralds are extremely powerful and hard-to-obtain artifacts in the Sonic series, but in Fandub they are usually sold on eBay for like 8 dollars. This doesn't mean they aren't powerful, of course; each emerald comes with its own set of powers, and after Shadow collected them all, the power of the U.S. president flew through his veins, granting him immense power. During his crashout, the Devil stole the emeralds, and since literally every nobody can use their powers with no knowledge of what they can do. The Devil should be able to replicate some of its powers.

The Weed
Statistics Amplification: As we all know, weed makes you faster; that's a known fact after all. By utilizing the Weed, Shadow was able to make himself go so fast to the point that characters like Silver seemed to move in slow motion.

Possible Clairvoyance: Shadow tried to ask the weed what he's supposed to do in the dub, though we don't know if he got an answer or not.

Light Manipulation/Sound Manipulation: The Corrupted Weed Gem can flicker a purple light and make robot noises, which can easily distract Sonic, though distracting Sonic isn't exactly an impressive feat, is it?

The Purple
Possible Limited Illusion Manipulation or Possible Sealing/Pocket Dimension Creation: Silver touching The Purple showed an illusion of Sonic burning in the hell dimension, but Sonic is completely fine in reality, making this possibly a false glimpse the purple made for Silver. Or if you want to argue this is Sonic from the future, it is possible Memphis was telling the truth and did trap Sonic in there. I don't know; take your pick.

The Piss Rock
Teleportation: During his fight with Shadow, Sonic used the Piss Rock to teleport around.

Possible Mind Manipulation: Sonic couldn’t think straight with the piss rock, and Eggman was planning on making everyone watch his Splatoon let’s plays and Vine compilations, which you could argue would only be possible thanks to the piss rock's mind control.

Reality Warping: Memphis used the piss rock to make dark puddles around the battlefield and make himself high resolution

The Red Mauve

The Constitution

The Gamer Gem
The Power of Gaming: The Gamer Gem is connected to all gamers around the world, which would include others who use the power of gaming, like Eggman, Memphiles, Shadow, and Rouge. Duke even calls the gamer gem, using the power of gaming to bring back his daughter. Due to being connected to the source, it's likely The Gamer Gem can replicate certain abilities characters connected to gaming use.
Possible Hacking: Eggman tried to log into Twitter with the gamer gem, but it just released Shadow instead, an action he would regret every day.

Possible Resurrection/Death Manipulation: Duke used the gamer gem to bring back Elise but acidentally killed her (but she lived for some reason.)

The Aquafina
Possible Time Manipulation/Dimensional Travel/BFR: You could argue that the Aquafina powered Eggman’s device that sent Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to the future of Fortnite with Shadow and Rouge, but this could just be Eggman’s machine doing it without the Aquafina.

The Powers of the U.S President

Duplication: Memphis used the Piss Rock and The Weed to create 10,000 clones. While yes, they can be used for fights, Memphis has…other reasons for having them, most specifically for his harem of himself for himself.

Time Travel/Portal Creation: by using two emeralds, one is able to create portals able to time travel to the past or the future.

Sexuality Manipulation: After collecting the Chaos Emeralds, Mephiles summoned a bright light that covered the world; this light made everyone gay and lustful for him. With even characters like Eggman stating they crave Gamer cock. (Is this the Woke mind virus people keep talking about?)

Possible Reality Warping: Jet used it to turn up the graphic settings, but you can argue the GameCube 2 was responsible for it.

Transformation/Invincibility/Flight: All the chaos emeralds together can unlock the powers of the US president to go into super forms; their power makes them invincible to physical damage, and it grants them the ability of flight. This isn't limited to Sonic, Shadow, and Silver, as Memphis might have turned into Solaris at the end of '06

Air Saucers
The Air Saucers are the demons' most potent ability for transportation; while heading into combat, they are able to jump in the air for long distances, build up momentum, and are completely immune to acid. We have seen it a few times in fandubs.

Bombs
Bombs? You want them. They're yours, my friend! This is mostly a gameplay item. I mean, we have technically seen it in fandub, but we haven't seen it blow up on-screen, but believe me, they do. These were planted by Black Doom's army.

Powers and Abilities
Adam
Angel Physiology
Angels have a very unique physiology in the Hazbinverse; for one, they are beings of pure light, as stated by Charlie. Possessing a more golden look to their blood. They can still be touched and harmed, so don't take this too literally. Speaking of harmed, one thing Angels share with Sinners is their immortality; they can only be killed physically by an Angelic Weapon, which is basically Angel Kryptonite, as we covered a while ago.

Immortality
Due to being already dead, Winners can't age, at least physically. Adam himself has been "alive" for billions of years. You are probably also tired of hearing about it, but let's talk about it again. Both sinners and winners in the Hazbinverse possess a very impressive regeneration; they can presumably come back from most types of physical damage, unless it is done with an angelic weapon.

Flight
Like most angels, Adam possesses large wings on his back that allow him to fly through the sky with precision.

Holy Light
Adam can summon blasts of holy "light" from his hands and also his guitar, as previously covered. These can vary in size. But they are all very powerful, with a few of the strongest blasts being able to split the hotel in two. Despite what its name implies, these are very likely not made of light, but whether you do or do not consider them as such, it doesn't change much, these blasts seem to have similar properties to angelic steel, being able to also bypass Sinner's immortality.

Portal Creation
With a simple snap of his fingers, Adam can create golden portals to send someone to hell. Although we don't see it, these portals might also be able to transport you to the real world and space due to other portals in the helluvaverse working in similar ways.

Light Constructs
During his musical number, Adam channels his inner yellow lantern and summons multiple Golden Exorcists to hype him up and intimidate Charlie; during the song, he also summons a golden guitar, which can create powerful shockwaves by simply playing it, he seems able to reshape these constructs to his will with simple gestures, such as when he turned that guitar we mentioned earlier into a piece of paper to taunt Charlie. Upon creating these constructs, Adam can even "teleport" them to other people. though we have only seen Adam do this with more harmless things like paper, but he can likely do it with his golden exorcists too.

Clairvoyance
By snapping his fingers, Adam can summon this weird crystal ball thingy, which can show him what someone is doing in hell, such as when he used it to prove why Angel Dust isn't welcome in heaven. It can also show the past, as it displayed Vaggie back when she was a exorcist.

Broadway Force (See Before Verdict)
If you couldn't tell by now, Hazbin Hotel is in fact a musical. And not just any musical; whenever characters sing, they change reality around them. Adam can grow massive, change the colors of himself and the background, summon objects, create illusions, create a giant fucking bloody hole, teleport people around, etc. All seen above. And it's not just Adam. Everyone who has a song is capable of this now… Whether these musical numbers are real or not is a problem for later.

Cloud Walking
He sure do be walking on these clouds. I…don't know what to say here.

4th Wall Awareness
Adam seems to know of the audience's presence and especially how fucking disgusting and ugly they are. In fact, I bet you reading this blog haven't seen a blade of grass in years.

The Devil
Devil Physiology
So, for starters, the Devil has a very…unique physiology, to say the least, for one. The insides of his body seem to be directly connected to the Twitch Headquarters, and once Shadow went through Twitch HQ, he was teleported to the insides of the Devil, who has an entire level inside of him for some reason lol. Full of demons, power-ups, rings, you know, the usual. Another very weird thing is his brain, which has another devil, who seems to be the actual devil since he's with the emeralds, making you wonder what even is this place. Well, now that we are done with the weird stuff, the devil actually has a physiology very close to humans, with white cells, ribcages, brains, tissues, hearts, teeth, etc. When his insides do get damaged, he can regenerate them, though it does take a bit, and depending on how much was destroyed, he does seem to get dumber and it takes a lot of power.

Immortality
The Devil has stated that physical damage can't kill him, which is proven time and time again, with Shadow "killing" him only for him to come back a few seconds later like it's nothing. Though that could just be that Shadow sucks at killing people. Even when he went inside of him and fucked him up. He was still somehow able to regenerate his body, though, as stated before, it does take a while to do so, and during that time he's pretty dumb and weak.

Teleportation/BFR
If the devil really hates you (you can tell by his tone of voice), he will directly send you to space. We also see him teleporting Shadow everywhere in the video, but this is by far the deadliest placement he can teleport you to (maybe you could do some interstellar crimes in space while you are there). But his powers don't stop at simply teleporting people around. As he can teleport large objects such as his BIG FUCKING THING from space directly into earth anytime he wants with a simple gesture. While you might think he was only able to accomplish such a feat due to the emeralds, the fact he brags about being able to do it anytime and the fact he constantly teleports himself around proves otherwise.

Space-Time Manipulation/Acausality
The Devil's power doesn't stop at teleportation. As he has a bunch of Timey-Wimey bs. Most of Shadow Fandub consists of what's essentially a time loop: Shadow wakes up, looks at the sky, and broods. The Devil rolls back time and comes in to tell how he fucked up his sin points missions. With enough resets, timelines start converging, which sounds bad and IS bad, even though we never technically saw any long-lasting effects from it besides a Eggman from another timeline taking the place of the main one. However the more it is used, the more unstable it seems to become, such as the previously mentioned risks it can bring to the timeline, but people will also start to remember more and more about resets the more The Devil travels back, such as Shadow and Espio being able to remember timeline resets, and Espio was smart enough to even figure out what was happening to the timeline.

Paralysis Inducement
If you start being a bit too annoying, the Devil will simply freeze you in time, leaving you a sitting duck unable to do anything. Unfortunately, he seems to forget to freeze the vocal cords, which doesn't really solve the problem of him being interrupted.

Portal Creation
The Devil does this a few times in the dub, normally with a huge red storm and mist covering the sky and with the clouds opening a portal where his demon army jumps out; this is, presumably, a portal to hell.

Summoning
The Devil can summon people directly from heaven for Shadow to beat up; it is unknown if he can do this with people in hell too.

Explosion Manipulation
Black Doo-err…I mean, the Devil, can generate small explosions from the ground and just bombard you easily. Although these small explosions don't seem to cause much damage and are mostly used as a scare tactic.

Mind Manipulation/Memory Manipulation
The Devil can enter your mind and make you remember false memories, like he did with making Shadow remember a false memory of him saving Maria; he can also look like others from your past as a way of tricking you. Besides messing with your memory, the Devil also has a secret weapon that he could totally always do: psychic attacks. Why doesn't he use it more often? I'm not sure, but it's super effective against Hot Topic type hedgehogs with gay highlights.

Light Manipulation
Whenever the Devil is teleporting someone or something, he creates a strong light; this light has been shown to be strong enough to blind Shadow & Friends for a few seconds.

Intangibility
Kind of a small one, but the Devil has shown multiple times to be able to go through walls, the ground, and various other solid objects whenever he wishes to.

Immersion
The Devil put himself on the blockchain as a joke; there's not much to it outside of that, but, man, remember when NFTs were a thing? Crazy it has been almost 4 years already lmao.

Telekinesis
The Devil used this to steal Shadow's emeralds and to send some screens flying…i'm, actully not sure what more there is to say about it.

4th Wall Awareness
Pretty much any character has this ability due to the satirical nature of these videos; Eggman acknowledges the camera zooming in, some characters speak to the audience, etc. In the Devil's case, he's aware of the Sonic franchise, even though he's technically a part of it. In another scene, he has showed to be aware of the existance of cutscenes.

Fire Manipulation
We will now start to get into gameplay scaling; just know that all of this is very debatable and will be explained soon enough. Black Doom can unleash heat waves that come out of 2 purple orbs; these orbs fire a wave of flames that can be used to kill opponents at long range.

Energy Projection
Another attack we see Canon Black Doom use is swift strike, a purple energy boomerang-shaped attack used for long-range combat against foes while also bouncing off walls.

Illusion Creation
During one of his boss battles, Canon Black Doom has shown himself capable of creating fake copies that look like him; upon attacking them, they are revealed to be but an illusion.

Resistances
Adam
Electricity: Unharmed by Alastor's tentacles and minions, which seem to have electrifying properties.

The Devil
Transmutation: Can take hits from Shadow, who can kick people so hard they turn into dogs.

Forms
Adam
Squished Adam
Adam's true form, a beast of unimaginable power that could solo fiction with a mere fraction of its power. But for the sake of this blog, we won't be using it since putting a boundless character against the Devil would ruin all debatability, wouldn't it?

The Devil
D̶o̶o̶m̶'̶s Devil's Eye
Awwww, look at this lil' guy; isn't he just the most adorable thing ever with his little eye! Well, besides being cute, he doesn't really do a lot besides project a hologram of his base form sometimes.

Final Form
The Devil is implied to have a final form; unfortunately, hm…we don't really get to see it? I mean, for all we know, this form could be really strong or really weak, but he never used it, so there's no way of knowing, or maybe he was bluffing; who knows lol.

Support
Adam
Lute
Adam's right-hand woman and probably the only person he actually cares about, Lute is one of the most skilled exorcists out there when it comes to fighting and probably has one of the biggest kill counts. She carries around an angelic sword and might have fucked Adam. She also happened to have hallucinations of him when he died, but shhh 🤫, that's from Season 2; it's not out yet.

The Exorcists
Heaven's army of demon-killing babes, they follow all of Adam's orders without question and actually consider him a pretty good boss. They usually carry a spear into combat, though they don't usually defend themselves due to thinking of themselves as invincible. Good luck killing the entire army, though, since there seem to be dozens and dozens of soldiers ready to complete their mission.

Golden Exorcists
These actually don't do a whole lot; they were mostly there to hype Adam up. Hell, we don't even know if they are living beings, but having a bunch of people cheering for you while you kick ass does sound pretty useful to build up aura.

The Devil
Hyper Intelligent Dog
See? Even the Devil loves his dog. And this isn't a normal dog, no, no, no. This dog is smart enough to talk and has the mental ability to fully process things like a human; he was also able to tank hits from Super Shadow while he was buffed by Sin Points, something The Devil has not shown himself capable of doing. At least from what we see, so this dog might legitimately be stronger than its owner. Though it still got stomped by Shadow, it did take a while. In the actual video we see him telekinetically throwing rubble at Shadow, summoning yellow laser beams coming out of meteors and sometimes teleporting. But if you want to go the gameplay route, you can check out the rest of his attacks in the original game here.

Black Warriors
The Storm Troopers of the devil's army, not to be confused with Shadow's alien army, they are basic yet effective on their own, easily overpowering G.U.N. soldiers on their own even without weapons! Not only that, they come equipped with different weapons for different situations.
Black Oak
Physically stronger than the Black Warriors, effortlessly destroying cars and throwing them like nothing as they overwhelm opponents with strength, they are even able to teleport with warp gates. They are also able to use all of the Black Warriors' weapons while also having two weapons exclusive to them.
Black Assassin
The most skilled aliens in the devil’s army, the best of the best compared to other demons the devil has; they can teleport short distances and have their own weapon that is exclusive to them. The Refractor.

Black Volt
a flying demon the devil has, once again, not to be confused with its alien counterpart. It can take flight to the skies and fire lock-on energy blasts to home in on enemies, and if damaged, they can get a damage recovery to replenish their health.

Black Hawk
So this is a hawk too, uh? They can take flight, and by charging and tilting themselves, they can fire blue curved energy waves to attack foes getting too close, and at long range, they can charge themselves as a battering ram and heal themselves with damage recovery.

Black Bull
As stated earlier, the Devil summoned this dude from heaven for Shadow to beat up; he's worth a total of 16 Sin Points. Although he most likely wouldn't exactly "fight" alongside the devil, he makes a good human shield.

Pudding Pops
“Hey! Looks like it’s lunchtime, boys. 😈”

Kill Worm
(Wow, what a name.) Anyways, we will start getting into gameplay scaling now, so everything from here is EXTREMELY debatable. This lil' worm has extremely durable skin, so durable, in fact, that it can absorb damage caused by demon weapons and is equipped with a Wide Worm Shooter that locks on enemies, dealing explosive damage.

Death Worm
Another wormy boy, this is basically a stronger version of the Kill Worm but golden; it's invincible to most attacks except for the mouth. After being shot 8 times in the mouth, it will die. (Also why does it look like a penis?)

Killer Plant
Bloodthirsty plants that cannot be killed but can be temporarily shrunken down if shot with the right weapon. They are mostly stationary and harm their opponents by breathing fire, so you should stay clear of these.

Overlords
A few ranks above sinners, you have overlords, who have acquired quite a powerful position in hell. But, as proven when Alastor, one of the most powerful overlords, tried to fight Adam, simply being an overlord isn't enough to defeat the first man.
Stolas
Although these two never technically met each other, there are still very good arguments for Adam scaling to Stolas due to simply being an angel and kind of just upscaling most of hell due to it.
Lucifer (Debatable)
The King of Hell himself, Adam, and Lucifer go way back when it comes to beefing. Lucifer stole both of Adam's wives, so you would imagine Adam hates him a lot. During their fight, if you can even call it that since Lucifer just shitstomped Adam the entire time, he was able to take heavy hits from Lucifer, so you probably could make arguments for him scaling, though it doesn't change the verdict much if you don't.
Misc.
Adam should upscale most people in the verse, even more so if you scale him to people like Lucifer. While not every character will be able to get their own scaling section, we will go over the most notable feats of the verse here.
The Devil
Sonic & Shadow (oh, and silver is there too ig)
Look! It's the big 2! And Silver! Anyways, these 3 are very different from their canon counterparts if you couldn't tell, especially in terms of power. They certainly are powerful, but don't get your hopes up for a multiversal feat, or do… ?
Eggman
EggHead, otherwise known as Eggface, otherwise known as Eggpoopy poopy butt, is probably one of the most powerful characters in the entire verse; he was so powerful, in fact, that he ruled all of hell for a while, at least before Shadow killed him in one of the timelines.
Misc.
There are plenty of other characters in RT-FD. That, while not as prevalent as other characters, they still left their mark. And of course, due to being one of the most powerful characters in the verse, the Devil should scale to them.
Before the Verdict
Should Song Feats be Used?
This is a topic on Hazbin Hotel scaling that, I'm kind of surprised isn't asked about much, which is musical feats. Now, as I said, there are a lot of songs in Hazbin, and most of them do showcase some crazy shit happening, but that's mostly just how musicals work; they shouldn't actually be used in versus debates, but one of the biggest arguments in its favor is that the show will outright acknowledge characters singing, which definitely opens a massive hole in the idea "that songs didn't happen." In fact, we know for a fact some songs DO happen, such as Stolas's lullaby; we literally see him open a portal and travel to space. Or Charlie's Pilot Song where characters directly acknowledge her singing.

And we know the abilities Alastor presents in his song in the pilot do in fact happen, which might make you think all of them happen, but I do believe it's kind of a case-by-case thing; while some songs might have happened, Hell is Forever surprisingly doesn't have a lot of evidence for it. I mean, Adam was singing, but most of it feels sort of metaphorical. Especially since these abilites would be mighty useful in some cases such as the one where he grows kaiju-sized or the fact he can summon a giant hole. but if you think Adam's Hell is Forever abilities should be used. That's fine because they don't impact the verdict in any way. In fact, some people working on the blog do buy it, so it kind of varies from person to person and there's not much evidence against it.

FTL Stolas
Okay, time to talk about that fucking lullaby that I hate. It's not a bad song, but no one can really tell what it means scaling-wise. This is the one moment in the verse that generated the most amount of discussion, with most of it being about cosmic Stolas. Now, cosmic Stolas has been debunked to hell and back; you already know it's not valid, so I wanted to talk about FTL Stolas. In a recent Alastor vs. Sebastian blog, Stolas moving away from a star got calced to around 15c. We were very confused at first since, well, the portal literally closed behind him. Where did he move? But after some examination of the scene, we think we have an idea of what's going on. So the planet... moon thing he was on was going into the purple star; once that thing splits a few seconds later, he just ends up... way in front of it. Sure, a tiny rock he was standing on did start floating, so he didn't actually go into the star, but it clearly wasn't going fast enough to carry him that far away. It isn't solid, but I guess you could make the argument that he does actually move away from the star. It's not like there's any other explanation for it; it could just be a weird continuity error, but since there's no real way of knowing it, we are counting this as valid overall.

Should Gameplay Feats be Used?
So, for starters. We know at least... some in-game levels happen; we do outright see them after all. But does this mean every level from the games happens? Maybe? It's kind of weird. Sometimes characters will reference gameplay; other times they'll say things that imply the gameplay didn't happen. It's mostly a matter of opinion, but we will cover arguments for and against it. Rest assured this mostly doesn't affect the verdict.

Team No Gameplay
As for the no gameplay side, there are arguments that Knuckles, Silver, and Amy clearly do not know how they got to locations. Amy and Knuckles can be argued as dumb and stupid for not remembering how they got to locations, but Silver is clearly not an idiot and doesn’t know how he got to the snow. Other moments, like Shadow getting an alien army, would contradict both stories of the mission that follow after of stopping the black creatures' bombs with Knuckles; other moments, like Memphiles turning into black and purple liquid after he made the battlefield purple, would support the boss fight not happening. The same goes for the Babylon Guardian and Master Core from Sonic Riders being replaced by fake Adam Sandler disappearing and Gmod.

Team Gameplay
Moments of characters not remembering how they got to locations are irrelevant, knowing other characters know how they got into those locations and the backstory on how they got there. Shadow asks Omega if he teleported here, but Omega confirms that they just walked. Silver questions why they are in the snow, but Blaze tells Silver her echolocation tracks the emerald. The only counterarguments are Amy and Knuckles not remembering what happened, but they aren’t really depicted as smart people besides a few moments from Amy. Gameplay also appears a lot in fandub, as we see Sonic running in the green jungle in SA2, the Sonic vs. Shadow boss fight 4 times in SA2, the Tails vs. Eggman boss fight 3 times, Shadow going down the sky rail in SA2, Knuckles at Pumpkin Hill (which all characters know) in SA2, Shadow fighting Sonic, Jonathan, Heavy Dog, Eggman with the Egg Breaker and Egg Cracker, and the Devil Doom boss fights, along with Shadow going through the Black Comet that is Twitch headquarters before Shadow goes inside the devil’s organs. The only counterargument is that it happens off-screen or gets cut off, but Sonic, Elise, and Silver remember the train level that we didn’t get to see, still implying it happened.

Would Shadow Help the Devil?
Now, you might be wondering, where's Shadow in all of this? We went over the Devil's entire army. Even the ones who never appeared in the actual video. Shadow and The Devil worked with each other for a large part of the video. Shouldn't he be in the Support section? Well…no lol. Shadow absolutely hates his guts, and by the end of the video, the Devil also hates him. Didn't you read the background? These guys are NOT on good terms. Besides, even when they were working together. Their relationship was not positive in the slightest; there's no real reason why Shadow would ever help him just because a large part of the video consisted of them working together.

Universal Devil
If you've read The Devil's FCOC page...you'll be quite familiar with this argument. There are 2 potential showings of The Devil that could scale to that that would put him on a universal level on that page, as well as numerous others throughout the rest of the fandubs. Let's go over them all now.

Eggman's Master Plan
In the Hero Story dub, after launching Sonic out of the ship, Eggman says he will now "control the universe," so is it valid? Nah lmao. For starters, "control" doesn't really mean anything without context. It doesn't necessarily have to mean anything that'll transfer to AP, especially because Eggman elaborates that he's just going to make people watch Splatoon 2 let's-plays (how diabolical). Ultimately, there's just not enough context to assume any sort of universal power is being demonstrated here.

Shadow Destroys Hell
So, in the Shadow 05 fandub, Shadow, after a fight with Eggman, ends up destroying hell much to the Devil's annoyance. So, is this a universal feat? Nope! Once again we're faced with a lack of context; we can't say for sure how big Hell in the fandubs is. It certainly doesn't look like it's as big as a universe when we see it, and there's no supplementary material or context within the fandubs to confirm that Hell is as big as a universe.

The Hell Dimension
So in Sonic Riders, after Team Sonic and Team Babylon got consumed by a black hole, they were teleported to G-mod, and Dr. Breen states, “I sorta made this entire universe,” and that seems concrete, right? Jet even says it was the hell dimension; the devil should upscale and be a universal being, right? No, first off, actually looking into the G-Mod map, it doesn’t have a universe; in fact, it would be star level because of it having a sun, and we don’t know the size of this realm outside of that. The hell dimension is more of something he thought of than actually thinking it was hell itself, considering hell in the Sonic fandub is filled with lava and machines. Which means it can’t actually be hell, and we don’t know if anyone can scale to Breen, as he just appears for one moment and has mental pain thinking about Sonic Forces. The only way the devil can scale to him is his statement of him being all-powerful, which is not his strongest title, thanks to taking multiple beatings from Shadow in base. So this random guy could technically be universal, but nobody actually scales to him based on the knowledge we know from Sonic fandub.

The True GAY POWER
The final universal argument: after Memphiles used the chaos emeralds and yellow to unleash his true gay power, he made a large blast that made everyone gay, including girls like Amy being attracted to Rouge and Elise, but the side effect is that everyone and everything besides them is gone, so what happened? First, we do know Memphiles had an effect on the world, as space itself was warping in Memphiles' presence with gay power, meaning it affected space, and we see space being distorted in the background after the gay power attack finished, and we know there are more people than just everyone on the planet, as seen with aliens and dog meteors in the Sonic fandub universe, meaning the blast had to reach interstellar distances in seconds. So that makes Memphiles universal, as everything was erased by gay power, and that would be a feat that can get to 77 quadrillion times faster than light, so Sonic and co. taking the blast makes them uni, and Knuckles in the cutscene can react to the attack, so they also scale in speed. The devil should be relative too, right?

No? We don’t know if the Sonic cast took the blast, got transported after the blast, or resisted it, and Knuckles reacting to the light in the cutscene can be argued to be an outlier, as in the background normal people react to the light, and while the G.U.N. commander saved the president from a laser in time and he’s a normal human, even though that feat can't really be applied. it’s questionable to assume all humans in Sonic now react to 77 quadrillion times FTL attacks because they saw the light of Memphiles glowing, so the cast shouldn’t get that scaling, nor the devil… BUT chaos emeralds and super forms would scale to this due to their involvement in the gay power blast and super Sonic, Shadow, and Silver beating Memphiles, so chaos emeralds and super forms are on those levels of power and speed, and lastly, the hyper-intelligent dog can react and take hits from super Shadow, granting him that scaling.
To conclude:

The Devil himself isn’t uni, but the emeralds and hyper-intelligent dog should scale to uni and MFTL+.

Weakness
Adam
Even with his immense power, Adam has his fair share of weaknesses; for one, he's extremely cocky and overconfident. He can certainly fight, but he isn't used to people being able to put up an actual fight due to how used he is to being above everyone, which can cause him to be caught by surprise. Of course there's also the problem of angelic weapons; if a foe were able to disarm him of his guitar and use it against him, that would likely not end well. His temperament may also result in him taking decisions without thinking, it definitly doesn't help that he's extremely easy to irritate.

The Devil
The Devil might be powerful, but he's not invincible, though he claims otherwise. His insides are pretty much his weak point; if you somehow destroy them, he will already be weakened when you reach the brain. He's also very cocky and full of himself, thinking of himself as superior and deserving of attention. Mostly from Twitch streamers. But hey, at least he loves his dog, which is…another weakness. He loves him so much, to the point he will be emotionally broken if he's hurt to the point of giving up on his entire quest. He's very naive and childish, which can result in him being tricked and taken advantage of, even though he's supposed to be a pure evil king of hell.

Verdict

Team Adam
Stats
Obviously both of these two are very powerful; however, when the numbers are put up against each other, the Devil holds a clear advantage. Sure, Adam can split the Hazbin Hotel, yielding results of 147 megatons of TNT, but just scaling the Devil to other characters gets him 376 zettatons of TNT at the minimum. Really, this isn't a contest; the Devil clearly takes strength.

Speed is in the opposite boat. Sure, there is some light timing in the fandubs, but Adam scaling to Stolas is beyond standard light timing—15 times beyond it, actually. Now there is some doubt to be placed on the Stolas feat due to it being overall really vague; however, similar scrutiny could be applied to the more impressive speed feats of the fandubs. If we really want to go lower, Adam would be Mach 437 and the Devil would be Mach 21… Yikes, in conclusion, Adam should take speed by a decent margin no matter the end you use.

Durability is mostly the same thing as Attack Potency.

Hax and Equipment
The Devil obviously has way more hax than Adam. I mean… paralysis, telekinesis, rewinding time, you name it. Adam does actually have counters to some of it, though. The Devil sending him to space wouldn't work, as Adam could just portal his way back; the Devil's regen would be negated due to the way Adam's weapons work; and while it is a brief effect, the Devil has no true counter to Adam's power null. Some of the Devil's may seem impressive based purely on name but aren't anything Adam would have to worry about on their own. The Devil's psychic attack seems to just disorient you briefly, and the Devil's “memory manipulation” consists of him messing with flashbacks, so unless Adam has a flashback mid-fight, he should be fine. Still, the Devil’s sheer quantity is something Adam can't compare to even if he can counter some of it. All in all, the Devil takes the lead in hax.

As for arsenal, quality vs quantity. Most The Devil's arsenal is basically useless barring those Emeralds, but Adam himself doesn't have anything that could compare to the Emeralds. There's also a discussion on if the Devil is even that proficient in using the emeralds, but we'll save that for later. So just to be fair, the Devil will take the lead in the arsenal because of the Chaos Emeralds.

Intelligence and Experience
Yeah, Adam kind of takes this. The Devil has no worthwhile combat or IQ showings, while Adam at least has some form of training (enough to at least effectively use his guitar-axe) and commands an army every year. Not to mention we've at least seen Adam fight; the only time we saw The Devil “fight,” it was off-screen, and he ended up on the ground with Shadow not taking that much damage. Sure, the Devil knows how to ragebait, but Adam can effectively blackmail; one is more impressive than the other. This was by far the easiest category to decide; Adam takes this with flying colors.

Support
The Devil's support is basically featless; they have weapons that could hurt the exorcists, but even just scaling exorcists to the lower-tier stuff puts them way above the Devil's. Are the weapons really going to matter when they are fighting an army that is not only larger but could likely just blitz and one-shot them? The only way you could get the Devil's high enough to do something is by chain-scaling them to Shadow directly, which… lol no, unless you think they are just as strong as the Devil.

But alright! Let's talk about the elephant in the room. Obviously the hyper-intelligent dog blows everyone out of the water, right? I mean, it scales to Universal and MFTL+; what's stopping it from just killing everything on the battlefield?! Well… there's a catch. The hyper-intelligent dog doesn't do much worthwhile damage to Shadow, making it hard to argue it actually scales to the universal stuff in strength. It also clearly doesn't physically travel at MFTL+ speeds; it just can react quickly enough to tag Shadow.

This is important because it means the exorcists could basically avoid it just by keeping distance. Sure, the hyper-intelligent dog could try and use telekinesis to throw rubble at them, but that's just rubble and debris; it's not like that's a game ender on its own. There's also a major possibility that the Devil wouldn't even summon it; watching the fandub again, he questions why Shadow was even fighting it to begin with and basically spends the whole fight begging Shadow not to hurt it. Does that sound like the type of guy who would summon his dog to fight an entire army? There are way too many doubts to reliably say the Devil would summon it. Ultimately, due to the featless nature of the Devil's support and the hyper-intelligent dog being pretty easy to avoid (and it being questionable if the Devil would even summon it to begin with), Adam should take support.

Wincons
This is where you would think the Devil shines, right? His strength and durability advantage and the several hax that seem like they could end the fight instantly should do Adam in no problem, right? Well, remember the last category: The Devil has basically nothing going for him in terms of combat showings. Let's go down the list.

“Can't the Devil just punch Adam?” He could in theory, but the Devil has never thrown a punch once, even in scenarios where he's genuinely angry at people and has perfect openings. If the Devil was the type to punch whoever he was feuding with to win, he would have done it when Shadow was disoriented by his psychic attack, for example. Now obviously punching isn't rocket science, but there's a big difference between “isn't the best at punching” and “literally never punches once.”

“Can’t the Devil paralyze him though?” The Devil has only ever used his paralysis in a scenario where he was sick of everyone getting in between him and Shadow; he never uses it in any scenario beyond that. He might use it if Adam's support tries to third-party him, but if he's fighting Adam himself directly, it's unlikely he would actively paralyze Adam for a win.

“Okay, but can't he just reset the fight if he's ever in danger?” The Devil only used this in a combat scenario when he had already lost; the problem here is that once Adam starts damaging him, it's kind of game over. He won't be able to regenerate on top of that power null going into effect for a few seconds every time he gets hit. Not to mention he also says he's going to do it before he actually does so… It's not like he can take Adam by surprise with it.

“What about the Big FUCKING Thing?” Now there is a possibility of the Devil summoning it, but really all it does is appear and create 3 tendrils that burrow into the ground and nothing else. It's not like the Devil would use it like a meteor and try to nuke the battlefield entirely or anything.

Ultimately most of the Devil's wincon options really aren't things he would use unless you ignore his character entirely and just treat him like a stat and hax sheet, and the abilities he might actually use, like psychic attacks and sending Adam to space, can either be countered or simply aren't substantial enough to end the fight entirely. Now, what's Adam's path to victory? Simple, using his speed advantage to chip The Devil down over time, The Devil won't be able to regenerate any progress, and the fact he's power nulled briefly for every hit is a major help. It'll definitely take a while, but Adam does have the means to do it.

There is the factor of stamina to consider, but while Adam doesn't have many impressive stamina showings The Devil really doesn't either. Sure Eggman can fight for 3 years, but that's just it, Eggman can fight for 3 years. We can't scale The Devil to the stamina of other characters just because he can match their strength, that's just not how stamina works. The Devil's only other saving grace is the Chaos Emeralds but while he does have them, we have no evidence he's anywhere near as proficient in using them as other characters, he just kinda has them float above his head after stealing them and doesn't use any of their impressive abilities at all.

Final Thoughts...
This is actually more complicated than most would think. It's easy to look at the Devil's abilities section and think he auto-wins, but when you actually factor in the Devil's character and how he handles things, it's really hard to say he would use those abilities in the way he would need to use them to win. Sure, Adam's wincon is much more unorthodox and would take a long time, but it only requires assuming Adam wouldn't give up the fight. The Devil's paths to victory require assuming he would do things he's never done before and use things in ways he's never used them before.

I would say this result is shocking, but I would be lying. After all, the Devil's name is Lose-cifer. The Winner is Adam!

Team Devil
Stats
While both of these characters have very impressive feats, I feel like this part is pretty clear-cut. Adam is a dude that can split mountains (147 megatons), while the Devil should easily scale to Eggman, who can destroy part of the moon with only his piss (376 zettatons), but I feel like saying "The Devil takes AP" is the understatement of the century because the difference is enormous. The Devil is over 3 Quadrillion Times Stronger than Adam, which also should carry over to durability.

Due to being a Sonic character, or at least a parody of one, you would expect the Devil to take speed easily, right? Wrong. Surprisingly, the Devil doesn't have many speed feats that come close to light speed. Besides Shadow supposedly dodging lasers, we had to go frame by frame on that, and he does dodge it, but the feat itself is way more questionable than Stolas's 15c feat, but if we want to make things more simple, Adam's beam can travel at Mach 437, which Lucifer has dodged, and Omega can count sand at Mach 21, and other characters have blitzed Omega's perception in the past, but either way, Adam takes this.

Durability is mostly the same thing as Attack Potency.

Hax and Equipment
Now, Adam's powers are certainly not terrible, his Light Kamehama is one of his strongest attacks, he can create exorcists and objects out of thin air and if you allow him broadway force, he gets some very useful powers that might help him take down the Devil, unfortunaly for Adam this is one case where quantity is the right awnser. The Devil's paralysis is an instant win for one and the fact he can use it on multiple people would help him take care of Adam's army quickly, he can teleport not only people but obejcts, which means it's totally possible for him to just steal Adam's guitar (something telekinesis can also do) and the fact he can simply bomb Adam from afar (even though it doesn't do much damage it would still work well for a distraction) All in all, the sheer variety is too much for Adam to handle.

This is a bit of a weird case because yes, the Devil's arsenal definitely focuses on quantity. I don't exactly agree most of his arsenal is useless; Sin Points are able to burst into energy and be converted into ki blasts, and then there's the Chaos Emeralds, which…yea, they have every power under the sun. While we have never seen the Devil use them, literally every idiot in fandub is capable of doing so, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. While Adam's guitar can power null, it's important to note Adam's guitar does not act the same way as a rope. Alastor got back basically the same second and was able to use his powers, but that's a discussion for later. Point for the Devil

Intelligence and Experience
Yea, this should be obvious. The Devil is a complete idiot, while Adam is not much better; he's at least somewhat competent. He has also been in more fights than the Devil, who has been in very few fights, and the ones he was a part of, he got his ass beat. Adam would also target the Devil first if he found out he was the leader and just has overall commanded the exorcists for years, which is more than the Devil has ever done.

Support
And now we have the most interesting part of this, support. While the Devil certainly holds variety, most of his army doesn't do a whole lot; they are featless. Their only feat is scaling to Black Oak and throwing a car, which, lol. Adam's exorcists, on the other hand, do not only hold a number advantage but also a skill advantage. Considering they should be comparable to Vaggie, who scales to most of the cast, exorcists should be able to one-shot most demons, well, except one…the Hyper Intelligent Dog…who is MFTL+ and universal. You would think this is an instant win, right? Eh…kinda. While the Dog is without a doubt very powerful, his universal scaling comes with a catch: though he has displayed universal durability, he was never shown to do anything that would qualify him for having universal AP. And when it comes to speed, it's reaction speed, which is way different than travel speed. So he won't be blitzing everyone. While the Exorcists don't have any way of killing the Dog, the Dog suffers from a problem most of the Devil's support suffers from, which is being featless.

Looking at Adam's side, while he doesn't have much variety compared to the Devil, he more than makes up for it with how skilled his troops are and how many of them there are, which is more than you can say for most of the Devil's soldiers. Support goes to Adam.

Wincons
Okay, this is what we have all been waiting for: who has the best wincons, and who takes the victory? Well, I feel like it's a bit complicated considering their personalities, but I do think the Devil has what it takes to make quick work of the first man. Let's cover every possibility, shall we?

"Can't Adam blitz the Devil?" Well, technically he can, but it would be a fly trying to fight a human. Remember, the stat difference is 3 quadrillion; there's no way in hell Adam is killing the Devil by brute force. There's also the fact that high-ends don't show that much of a speed difference, with Adam only being 14 times faster, though with low-ends a blitz is possible, but it's not like it would matter. The Devil not scaling to Eggman's stamina is also likely, but Adam would still get tired faster since he's basically hitting a brick wall, giving The Devil his opportunity.

"But the Devil can't fight for shit." That might be true, but he doesn't need to know how to fight; the stat difference is so insane thateven the slightest movement that could be considered an attack would knock Adam cold. While we have never seen the Devil fight, that doesn't mean he can't at least throw a weak slap. He's an idiot, but he is not lobotomized lmao. Also, most of the time he's thertening Shadow who is his idol, even by the end of the video he still seems to be simping for the guy, of course he won't try to kill him. The Devil however would not think the same about some random, the one time where he got extremely mad at Shadow was when he destroyed hell, which, guess what Adam's job is. It's totally in the realm of possibilities for him to actually try to kill Adam.

"He wouldn't use his powers in a fight." This is a bit of a weird one to make, and the main argument for it is, "He only did it in a specific scenario." The only thing that confuses me the most is him not using paralysis outside of a specific scenario, and I have to disagree since after watching the video, sure, he stopped them in time because they were getting between him and Shadow, but he specifically also says he stopped Knuckles in time because he was yelling, something Adam loves to do. He even stopped people who have done nothing to anger him, like Amy and Tails. Him stopping some prick spamming his axe on his torso is totally within possibility.

"Can't Adam power null the Devil?" Well…yes, but actually now, while it is true Angelic Weapons seem to have Power Null properties, it's also important to note the difference between Adam's guitar and Striker's rope. Both are angelic weapons, of course, but the rope is specifically used to trap Stolas. When Adam hit Alastor, he just used his powers one second later. Power Null is not that effective against someone who can just…I don't know, teleport away? It's not like Adam is a stranger to letting his opponents walk away; he's extremely cocky. The Devil Resetting time/teleporting away is very likely once he realizes his powers are gone.

While Adam is definitly powerful, i personally don't see him winning this, the only way he can bypass The Devil's Durability is if Satan stands there for days doing basically nothing and even then, i doubt he would be able to cause any real damage before getting tired, there's a argument to be had about The Devil sucking at fighting but when all he needs to do is get one hit in, not mattering how weak it is? I'd say screw fighting skill. The Devil gets wincons.

Final Thoughts...
This is a very interesting matchup for sure, and there's definitely discussion to be had about the debate, but just the fact that Adam has no counter to the Devil's insane durability feats definitely makes this a lot easier to decide. You might think the Devil is stupid, you might think he has no combat skills, you might even think he's too dumb to know what his powers even do, but the fact a clean hit is all it takes kind of makes all of that irrelevant.

This Hazbin a helluva good fight, but the Devil has everything needed to take home the dub. The Winner is The Devil!

  • Will Probably be able to fight for longer
  • Just really loves Radical Highway

  • Slower on all ends
  • Has no showing of Battle I.Q
  • Psychic Attacks cause no harm outside of a headache
  • Support is pretty much featless
