Character Research Blog: The Prince (Le Petit Prince) (Composite)

"There is no land like the land of your childhood." - Michael Powell

Ah...times were much more simple when you were a kid, playing, running around, and just having fun in general. Well, sadly that doesn't last forever; one day you will have to grow up and become a functional member of society, but you still carry those memories wherever you go, and one of my most beloved memories is reading this little book called "The Little Prince." And what's the best way to honor this memory? Powerscaling it, of course!

Before We Start…
This will be a full composite of the character since, well, if we stick to the canon, he's pretty much featless. So, anything goes, and I mean anything. This also means I will miss a lot of stuff along the way, especially considering this has been adapted hundreds, if not thousands of times, but we will be focusing mainly on stuff made or licensed by The Saint-Exupéry Estate to keep this form from taking hundreds of years to be finished. We will also include the 2015 movie, even though neither the Little Prince nor the events of the second part of the movie are "real." It's still a story that was written in-universe, so we will take feats from that story.

Background
The mind of a child is something indescribable for adults; we never truly know what goes on there and often misunderstand what they truly mean. The Little Prince lived in a lonely asteroid far, far away from Earth with three minuscule volcanoes. He used to clean the volcanoes and unwanted seeds and sprigs that infested his soil, pulling out baobab trees that were constantly on the verge of overrunning the surface until one day the prince met a rose that grew on the asteroid. The rose exaggerated ailments to have the prince care for her. The prince made a screen and glass globe to protect her from the cold and wind, watered her, and kept the caterpillars off.

Despite falling in love with the rose, the prince also began to feel that she was taking advantage of him and resolved to leave the planet to explore the rest of the universe. Upon saying their goodbyes, the rose apologized for failing to show that she loved him. She wished him well and turned down his desire to leave her in the glass globe, saying she would protect herself, and so he visited seven planets.

a planet that had a king who had no one to govern, a planet that had a man drinking away his shame of drinking, a planet that had a conceited man who only wanted to be the most admired person, a planet with a businessman who is blind to the beauty of the stars and instead endlessly counts and catalogs (Average Powerscaler, I would know), a planet with a lamplighter on a planet so small, a full day lasts a minute, and a planet with an elderly geographer who has never been anywhere. With his last destination being Earth, he then met a snake that claimed to have the power to return him to his home if he ever wished that, sometime after he met a bunch of flowers and discovered his own rose was never unique to begin with.

And at last he met a fox who wished to be tamed by him. By being tamed, something goes from being ordinary or commonplace to being special and unique. From the fox, the prince learns that his rose was indeed special because she was the object of the prince's love and time; he had "tamed" her, and now she was more precious than all of the other roses. He then was able to finally find humans, a railway switchman who described how passengers constantly rushed from one place to another and a merchant who spoke about his product, a pill that eliminated the need to drink for a week, though like all the other adults, they made him more confused than anything.

It was then that he met an aviator; he had suffered a plane crash and was lost in the middle of the desert. Seeing this, the prince asked him to draw a sheep, but the prince was never happy with any of the sheep drawn until the aviator had enough and simply drew a box and told the prince the sheep was inside. Surprisingly, it worked. Eight days after the plane crash, the aviator and the prince are dying of thirst. The prince becomes morose and longs to return home and see his flower.

Thankfully, the prince finds a well, which saves them. Later that night, the aviator finds the prince talking to the snake. Although the aviator tries to stop him, the prince had already made up his mind. As he was bitten by the snake, his body fell to the ground and disappeared the next morning. Leaving his fate open to interpretation, with every interpretation of the story being equally valid. Many adaptations continue his story, but this is where the true tale ends.

Experience And Skill
Overall Experience and Knowledge
During his travels among the stars, the Little Prince has found himself on various different planets. Some of them were inhabited by one person, but others have an entirely different culture. The Little Prince is also surprisingly competent, living on his own for years on an asteroid and always remembering and knowing the dangers of a baobab tree growing on said planet and volcanoes erupting.

Taming
The act of "taming" is a very prevalent topic in most adaptations of The Little Prince's story; by taming something, it goes from being common to unique. Most roses might be similar in appearance, but if you deeply care about yours, then that rose will be unique to you and you only. The Prince deeply cares about anyone he considers a friend and can recognize them and tell them apart from fake copies

Acrobatics
Honestly, I wasn't sure if I should put this in Powers or Skills since, just look at it, jumping that high isn't human, or...whatever species the Prince is from. Him jumping this high is weirdly consistent tooAnd he can not only jump well but also perform multiple flips and acrobatics in the air.

Swordsmanship
Although he prefers to solve things by creating creatures with his sword, he's no stranger to actually using his sword like, well...an actual sword. In fact, he's skilled enough with it, to the point he can slice an arrow in the air.

Fighting Skills
Not exactly what you would expect from a character like him, but the Prince surprisingly got hands; though rare, he has engaged in fist fights quite a few times. Most notably with the Snake's human form. The most insane thing is that his first thought was going for the neck, which, holy shit lol.

Vehicular Mastery
Can dodge multiple asteroids coming his way with little-to-no difficulty, and in the 2023 show, he can fly the Asteroid around space in high speeds perfectly.

Quick Thinking
During all of the episodes of the 2010 TV show, The Little Prince is shown fighting against the clock. As the snake's manipulation over the citizens grew every minute. This required the Little Prince to think quickly as to how to solve problems created by the serpent. Being successful every time. He has showcased many times the ability to think of a solution quickly, be it breaking the door of a prison by summoning numerous sheep or setting up traps.

Deduction Skills
(Actual official art btw, it's so over The Little Prince has DC Scaling)
In the 2010 TV Show, he does some surprisingly good detective work. Being able to find out which people have been influenced by the snake and their motives, usually utilizing clues people indirectly give him, such as when he discovered a librarian could not read by simply giving him a list of gifts and tricking him into thinking it was a poem, which, in turn, eliminated the librarian from the list of suspects.

Deception and Trickery
he's also an extremely tricky individual, and while innocent, he can very easily fool or distract someone. For example, in the anime, while being persecuted by two prospectors, he was able to trick them and buy enough time for an escape. More impressively, he tricked a hunter into thinking he captured a mystical beast, somehow convincing him that he should never open it otherwise it would escape, satisfying the desire of the hunter of hunting such a beast without actually having hunted it.

Equipment
Asteroid B-612
The Home of The Little Prince, a asteroid that has 3 volcanoes which he uses to heat up his food, one of which is inactive and weeds spreading quickly over all of it, including baobab saplings which could be very dangerous for a planet this small, It may seem like a terrible place to live but he has grown accustomed to it. In the anime everything is a lot more hospitable, with food, animals and even water. In the 2023 show, this small planet received a bit of an upgrade, becoming a full-on spaceshipwith quite a few gadgets in it.

For example, it has boosters and a screen to communicate with the rose, Intercoms, Intercalls, Cameras and last but not least, smaller spaceships that can be dispatched from the main shipThese...smaller ships also come with giant...tire inflators, for some reason? they also seem to contain whatver the plot needs, such as gardening tools, files, tape and dozens of other materials, normally coming in very large sizes. On the inside, the ship surprisingly contains a weirdly large number of rooms considering the overall size of the planet. such as the ideas room, which is a room full of bubbles and clouds. The ship itself can also be used as a giant magnet and attract anything metallic to it or as a asteroid-sized vacuum cleaner.

Sheep
A Drawing of a sheep inside of a box; it's got to be very, very small to fit in it. This was given to him by The Aviator to help with removing baobab saplings; however, it might come with the very real danger of the rose also being eaten. a long time later, he realizes he forgot to draw a string, which made The Aviator question...did the sheep end up eating the rose? although it might look like a normal drawing, in multiple pieces of promo material, we see that both the box and the sheep are tangible beings, blurring the line between real and not real. So, who knows. Maybe it did.

In the 2010 TV show, sheeps are used in a variety of situations, mostly in large quantities. Such as summoning a bunch of them to break a jail cell or using them to climb.

Wild Birds
In the original book, this is the main way used by the Little Prince to get around planet to planet, throwing ropes around these birds and using them to haul him off B612 and into other close asteroids.

Net
A net that The Little Prince uses to catch stars and comets.

Comets
A form of travel taught to him by wild birds, he uses the net to grab onto one of these, and the comets bring him to distant planets for him to visit. With some comets even being able to fly at FTL speeds with enough time.

The Prince's Uniform
When he wears the uniform of a prince, he is more agile and quick. When faced with difficult situations, the Little Prince also carries a sword that lets him sketch and bring to life anything from his imagination (mostly animals) even mixing different species into one. And when he's done, he can make them disappear with a touch. These magic creatures are often used as transport and as shields. But due to being sentient, they can also act on their own and come in for a quick rescue when the prince's life is in danger or as a method of fighting larger enemies; they can also seemingly transform their hands into small scissors and also transform the rest of their bodies into a ball. Besides what you may think at first, he doesn't even need to be close to create such creatures; all he needs is to see where he wants to summon them and then proceed to draw. He can summon this uniform instantly.

Sketchbook
When he is not in his prince's clothing. The Little Prince carries a sketchbook given to him by The Aviator. By blowing on the pages, they take wing and form what he'll find useful and needs at that moment. Like tigersa massive sheep ladder, or even a giant pair of scissors. Think of it like...some kind of hammerspace that can create anything out of thin air. His imagination is the limit when it comes to what object, animal or weapon he can create with this sketchbook. By speaking into the notebook, little birds will also start to fly out of it and send the message to whoever you desireThe Sketchbook is bound to him and him only; no other person is able to tap into its magic, and when they do try it, it becomes an ordinary sketchbook. It is powered by stardust collected on his travels and he becomes unable to do anything with it when it runs out.

Scarf
One of the most iconic parts of the Little Prince's design is a very stylish yellow scarf. There's not much to it in the source material, but in the 2010 show it can be used to zip around.

Trumpet
A Gift that the Little Prince received after saving the planet of music, it may look like a normal instrument at first, but a single one of these can cause quite a large amount of damage, including even being able to harm Gloomies, who are the lost souls of people bitten by the Snake.

Stars
The Prince's uniform contains those little stars on his shoulders; he can remove these stars any time he likes. They emit a strong and magnificent light and can be used to see in the dark.

Plane
Much like the sketchbook, when the Snake threatened to destroy the universe, the Aviator already knew about it, somehow. and sent his own plane to B-612, SOMEHOW, as a way to help the Prince stop its plans. It's a Small plane that can travel in space automatically and the main method the Little Prince uses to travel form planet to planet in the 2010 show and comic. There's not much to it, but the Prince can seemingly control its speed. He also uses a very similar plane in a Chinese ad. I'm still not sure how the Aviator got a plane this sick and how he sent it to space, but hey, it's pretty cool.

Boat
Probably the most common summon from his sketchbook, this is a mostly normal boat with ropes that can be attached to clouds; this allows the boat to fly through the sky like a balloon.

Umbrella
Another piece of equipment used for flight, it can come in normal sizes or giant sizes; Mary Poppins would be proud.

Chicken Bike
It's a bike...shaped like a robotic chicken, it walks extremely slowly, it's small, and it just looks awkward to ride on. Why tf does he have this? lol

Origamis
After his plane was destroyed in a crash, the Little Prince needed a way to travel through the galaxy; that was when his plane was transformed into a bunch of large origamis, which he can not only use to travel the galaxy by himself but also bring his entire planet with him. Kinda like a mobile home.

Paper
While playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with a giant monster, as you do. The Little Prince decided to cheat a little and summoned a giant paper that covered the hand and made them run away.

Drawings
At the end of every episode of Season 3, The Little Prince received a drawing containing 3 planets and blew their pages into the volcano; these drawings serve as some kind of map to The Planet of the Rose, and when they reached the edge of the galaxy, they became a magic trail that helped them cross to the next galaxy.

Metal Legs
a pair of long metal legs invented by the Great Inventor in order to walk around in a desert capable of disintegrating anyone who touches its surface.

Growth Accelerator
As the name implies, this accelerates the growth of seeds. By spraying this green gas invented by the Great Inventor, the seed you planted will sprout out of the ground in seconds!

Elephant Mech
Probably his most impressive creation, a massive elephant mech that dwarfs entire forests. Though it doesn't do much physically, this can be used for searches. But it could be used in a fight considering its size.

Invisibility Ink
Just a regular bucket of blue paint, not much to it...or is there? Though it may look normal at first, this paint will eventually make anything you paint disappear, becoming, well, invisible to anyone. However, After some time it will become visible once again

Compass
A golden compass is used to communicate with Rose, who for some reason is an AI in this show? Keep this in mind: the robot and futuristic theme is weirdly present in this show. He usually uses this to get information.

Color Collector
This invention is capable of sucking in colors. It has 3 different lightbulbs where colors are stored. Upon being collected, these colors can be transformed into paint, though unlike regular paint, this can prevent a rainbow from fading from existence.

Surfboard
a flying Surfboard used in the 34th episode of Little Prince & Friends, it has a large engine on its back that, with the press of a button, dispenses fire to increase the speed of the surfboard. it can carry up to 4 people at once.

Kite
a large origami kite originally made by The Fox, it's especially effective in windy weather and can be used to fly through the sky quickly.

Baseball Bat
A baseball bat for...playing baseball. It doesn't look mind-blowing at first, but to me at least, this bat looks like it's made out of steel, which would probably hurt a lot.

Cloud Statue
The head of a statue made of clouds The Little Prince molded, I'm…not actually sure why it looks like that, though. Truly a masterpiece.

Torch
Don't play with fire, kids.

Cloud
He thinks he's Goku.

Spaceship
In a Bonus Story in the first Issue of the 2010 Little Prince's comic, he has this goofy as fuck spaceship. i mean, just look at this thing.

Santa Outfit
What a jolly good fellow!

Lasso
Similar to the wild birds, the Little Prince can use a lasso to catch a ride on a cloud.

Fancy Suit
Reigen Mob Psycho 100.

Lighter
Again, don't play with fire, kids. Well, unless that fire makes you become a real boy. Eat your heart out, Pinocchio.

Powers and Abilities
Physiology
Although the species of the Little Prince was never revealed, we do have a few pieces of information on it. For one, he has been called a Child of the Stars before. As we have seen here, he possesses above-average human strength and speed for someone his age and can jump extremely far.

His magic and powers, such as his sketchbook and sword, are described as "being a part of him, such as his hands or like the blood in his veins" which explains how he summons them anytime. Aging doesn't seem to be a problem either, as he has appeared in various pieces of promotional art commemorating various anniversaries of his book. with him only being capable of aging due to a machine and being able to turn back whenever

Sense of Wonder

Accelerated Development
The Little Prince has been stated to grow in power over the course of his adventures.

Reality Warping
a very unusual but also weirdly consistent ability, in the ending of the 2015 movie, a sunset in the form of a rose appears as soon as he closes his eyes and starts to focus, which causes him to see that the rose is in-fact not gone, and will always be with him. And it's not metaphorical either since the next scene, the entire planet changes and all of the baobab trees simply disappear.

Age Regression
In the 2015 movie, the Little Prince was able to become a child again simply by remembering who he was.

Immortality (Type 1)
A long time passed between seasons 2 and 3 of the 2010 show, Teenage Characters like the ice queen and king are shown to be elderly when they show up again, even having children. W
hile The Little Prince youth remains intact.

Possible Immortality (Type 4)
This is…a bit of a weird one. The Original Little Prince Book has an ending very up to interpretation; if you didn't read the background, the original book ends with the snake biting him so that he could return to his planet, with its poison presumably killing him second. Before his death, he elaborates on what will happen; "You understand…it is too far. I cannot carry this body with me. It is too heavy." "But it will be like an old abandoned shell. There is nothing sad about old shells . . ." Which definitely opens the door to stronger types of immortality if his physical body is just a shell, and considering a lot of adaptations and even the book itself hints at him going back to his asteroid, it's possible you can make the argument he could resurrect in another place; his body disappearing the next morning also may support this, of course all of this could just be a metaphor for his death. The beauty of The Little Prince is that we will never know, just like the aviator never knew what happend to The Rose.

Flight
On some drawings made by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the Little Prince has shown the ability to fly around. Although we have never seen this ability in any piece of media regarding the character.

Size Manipulation
This is a bit of a weird one; in various pieces of promotional art, the Prince has been shown being as big as planets, and this is further supported by the fact that in one of his ads, he has been shown being barely the size of a book in one moment and being as tall as a mirror in the other and in another ad, he was able to make a plane which was the size of his hand grow in size. So he might not only be able to change his size, but the size of others.

Transmutation
The Little Prince was able to transform star clay into pieces of an actual star. Not the most impressive form of transmutation but it should still count.

Dimensional Travel
Plant Manipulation
Can seemingly make a plant grow from the ground with a wave of his sword.

Ice Manipulation
I think you all will start to notice a pattern, my friends: ice manipulation is another ability that, much like transmutation or plant manipulation, while he does possess, it's not exactly made for combat; the only thing he did with this was breathe in the shape of a sheep.

Light Manipulation
Once again, another ability that isn't usable in combat and—oh...oh wow, it actually is. So he can make these stars with his sword, which emit a strong beam of light. He used it to hurt the Gloomies, but I imagine having this go directly into your eyes fucking hurts.

Tears Manipulation
In the Official Little Prince WhatsApp Sticker Pack (I know, we are digging deep here, but stay with me.) The Little Prince's tears have been shown to do this weird thing where they go back; I don't know how to describe it, it's really weird, but that's not all. He can cry so much, to the point the entire room gets flooded.

Animal and Plant Communication
The Little Prince can communicate with every single being in the universe, be it a alien species, animals, or even things who can't speak to begin with, such as plants. Which is pretty useful when it comes to getting information or calling for help. We aren't exactly sure if it is mind reading or simply automatic translation; could be both, or it could be neither. But this extends to even the most fearsome of beasts. all of them can be pacified and talked down in a matter of seconds. This ability, especially when it comes to animals, seems to carry over to the anime; a possible explanation that the anime might provide is that due to his sheer love for animals and plants, he has seemingly developed a way of communicating with them. His coordination with nature is so strong, to the extent that he can coordinate entire schemes and plans with wildlife after having a small talk. He can even receive messages from parts of other plants, such as when his rose was kidnapped; she sent him a petal, and she and the Little Prince were able to communicate through the petals.

Portal Creation
One of the most useful creations of the Sketchbook. By blowing into the pages of a drawing of a well. The Well is created. It might look normal at first, but this can take you anywhere you can think. All you need to do is jump on it and believe.

Emotion Sensing
Neither Rock nor Stone can keep the Prince from sensing what you are feeling; by focusing, he can sense the emotions of people far away, such as sadness and sorrow. He can even use this to find your exact location.

Joseph's Melody
A Melody TLP learned to play in The Planet of Books; upon playing it on an instrument, books from all parts start to float, with the one playing the song being able to control it. If you play it normally, the books come to you if you play it backwards. The books float away from you.

Sealing
The Little Prince can use the sketchbook not only to create but also to seal creatures inside of it. Through the power of one's imagination, one is able to seal things away inside the pages; He used this in both the TV show and the comic adaptation to seal the Snake once and for all, Though, this can be used not only to store evil, but also good. people can be sealed within the notebook, as a way of transportation, but here's the weird part, everyone who is sealed in the book becomes some kind of 2D Drawing, with the only exception being the snake, that can still move and talk. But since it does seem to be some kind of godly being, it would make sense he's more resistant to the effects.

Dream Communication
This one is a bit debatable, but considering he knew exactly what to do, it's very likely a real power. During Book 23, when TLP and The Fox were stuck in a volcano, they took a nap, and after sleeping, The Prince stated to have spoken to The Aviator in his dreams and was given the idea to use a well as a portal.

Mind Control Negation
You know how some people debate who gives the biggest pep talk in fiction? Well, the Little Prince is probably the best when it comes to it, because his pep talk is so good to the point it can completely negate the powers of the snake who can influence a person's deepest desires and seemingly plant evil in their hearts.

Non-Physical Interaction
The Little Prince can interact with, fight and even grab Gloomies, who are the lost souls of people bitten by the Snake.

Broadway Force
The Little Prince is definitely no stranger when it comes to musicals; over the years he has gotten multiple adaptations in musicals, operas, stage plays, and, of course, you can't forget the 1974 movie. As you probably expect, every time a song starts being sung in one of these, everyone starts suddenly also singing. What can I say? It's catchy

Bubble Pop Journey' Power-Ups
Yup. The Little Prince has one of those boring-ass ball puzzle games, and I had to play it. You're welcome. In this game you are able to use 3 power-ups to pop these balls more easily.

Extra Balls: Gives you 10 extra balls.

Rainbow Ball: Destroys a large amount of balls of any color.

Star Ball: Changes the color of multiple balls to the color of the ball used.

Sandbox Abilities
Back in 2023, The Little Prince was integrated into The Sandbox "metaverse," a site that allows users to design, build, and share their own 3D games and experiences using a drag-and-drop interface. Sandbox has 3 separate abilities that you can use to try to make your game not as boring...well...at least the money gained with this project went to charity.

Fly: "Why walk when you can fly? Get a bird’s-eye view of the action." Allows you to summon a jetpack to fly around the map.

Dance On Air: "Elevate Your Journey with Styled Moves on Every Step." Allows you to walk on the air when you dance.

Double Jump: "Don't Let Obstacles Hold You Back. Get the Boost You Need to Thrive." Allows you to...well, double jump.

Self-Sustenance
The Prince is able to survive traveling from planet to planet without any kind of oxygen equipment.

4th Wall Awareness
The Little Prince has shown himself to be aware of his place as a fictional character and even knows his creator. He has also read his own book.

Resistances
Cosmic Radiations/Extreme Cold: has been consistently shown to be able to survive fine in space.

Social Influencing/Mind Manipulation: Can resist the words of the snake, which can show and influence a person's deepest desires.

Forms
Adult
So, do you remember that snake that bit him? Well, surprisingly, it wasn't very trustworthy. When he was bitten, he forgot everything about who he was and was taken by the Businessman to become one of his employees. That right there, my friends, is what minimum wage does to someone.

Plush
Yes.

Support
The Rose
A Common but beautiful Thorned Rose that grew on the Little Prince's planet, he keeps her safe under a glass globe to protect her form the cold, and he and the plant seem to share a very close, almost romantic relationship with each other in a few adaptations.

A.I Physiology
This was a very weird decision for sure, but in the newest show, the flower isn't a flower. Let me explain: she's more of a artificial intelligence assistant; she has the basic things that come with an AI, playing songs, searching for information, making calculations, locate objects and people, etc. But she also has the disadvantages, such as being able to be hacked. She can pretty much appear on anything that has a screen, such as the ship's screen or the screen on the compass.

Advice
The Rose possesses a very special power that is able to make people stop committing the most heinous of crimes...writing a letter. I'm not kidding here. During Season 3 this was mostly her main contribution: someone does something wrong, she writes a letter, and they start reconsidering it. Not sure how helpful this would be in a battle to the death, though. But sometimes, she uses these to get important information to The Prince from afar; considering the pages will always lock into whoever you want to receive it, they will always get the information no matter what.

Vine Manipulation
The Rose has been shown to have control of her vines, using them to pick up objects such as letters. She can also use her vines in combat to whip things; she can one-shot gloomies with these.

Technology Manipulation
The Rose has been shown to be able to tap into tech in quite a few occasions, most prevalently being able to control the entire ship as she pleases, but she can also make other pieces of technology malfunction.

Perception Manipulation
can change the perception of how someone sees her, either seeing her as a humanoid flower or as a regular rose.

Technopathy
As we have covered, Rose can freely tap into tech, which includes being able to throw things like ships around from a distance.

Resurrection
At the end of the 2010 show/comic, Rose straight up dies. Like, really, she straight up does. Thankfully if there's as much as a petal left by her, she can be replanted and, with enough care, grow into a brand new rose, though this form of cheating death does take a while to work overall.

The Fox
A Fox The Little Prince met and domesticated on his travels to earth and his best friend. It took days for both of them to see eachother as more than a ordinary boy and fox, but a special bond was created between the two.

Mech
The Fox usually uses this mech to walk around in the 2023 show, which is really weird considering he can walk around just fine, but I guess it looks cool, so there's that...well, I guess it does have some other utilities; for example, it can garden automatically. But nothing too useful.

General Fox Abilities
As a fox, they are, as you would expect, very agile and possess very sharp teeth and claws. Coming with a very acute sense of smell.

Size Manipulation
Much like the Prince, the Fox also seems to possess similar abilities.

Non-Physical Interaction
Another ability very similar to the prince is that the Fox is also able to harm and bite Gloomies, who are, as previously stated, lost souls.

Ice Manipulation
This is the third one in a row, I know, but most of the Fox's powers were already explained in The Little Prince section, but it's basically the same thing, with the same use.

Blue Bubbly
The opposite of Gloomies, while Gloomies consist of pure negative thoughts, Bubbly is a being of pure positivity. He was originally created by the Fox through meditation and can be summoned by any of the cast through focusing on their positive thoughts. Now this is where you expect some kind of explanation of how he's very useful to the team, but he's mostly just there for moral support. Actually...there's one thing. Gloomies as a whole are very stretchy; they can morph and shapeshift into whatever they want. In fact, we have seen him stretch through the clouds before; it's quite the distance even if we don't have an exact number. Like others of his species, they have also shown the ability to shapeshift, even if not as much as negative thoughts.

The Hunter
An experienced hunter who is able to catch anything, he's equipped with a gun that shoots out powder and stink pellets. Or, more impressively, yellow pellets that can enlarge things to a massive scale, such as when they enlarged a cloud to become bigger than a giant turtle, which on its own is the size of an entire building. Throughout his life, he has hunted multiple fearsome animals, though he doesn't seem to like killing them. He also has a strong sense of smell, which shouldn't be a surprise with his big-ass Squidward nose. He's one of the four characters The Little Prince carries in his sketchbook.

The King
Due to being royalty, he has a certain power over people; close-minded people and animals will follow him simply due to having an important title, which can be used in distractions. Hell, sometimes they will simply listen and obey him due to considering him wiser. He's very easily annoyed and can be summoned anytime by the sketchbook.

The Geographer
The Little Prince can use The Geographer's vast knowledge on many different occasions; he seems to know a lot about most scientific things and has years' worth of research and studies to his name. He can make multiple calculations in seconds, much to the prince's boredom. The geographer also possesses a large book that contains weirdly specific information; even brand-new diseases have cures detailed in it. Any information needed in any situation can be simply read about on it. Any and all answers lie within the book.

The Businessman
An energetic, smooth-talking salesman who is usually used for negotiations, his charisma allows him to convince people to accept certain terms. He carries a large box with a bunch of random shit like flowers, stones, and gadgets and trinkets. Now, you might think associating yourself with a known scammer is a bit weird coming from someone like the Prince, but it gets the job done. He can even scam other scammers very easily due to being way more experienced in being a greedy asshole; I'm not sure if it's a positive or a negative, though.

Universal Snake
In most adaptations, The Snake is a simple animal who tricks The Little Prince at the end of the story (or not depending on the version), but in the 2010 show, things get a bit...goofy. The Snake in that show is a 14 billion-year-old spirit of darkness and discord that existed before the universe itself, basically just chilling. Until planets started to appear, which pissed him off enough for him to want to destroy everything, he has been stated many times to be able to destroy entire star systems. And sometimes even universes, with his main goal being bringing the end of the universe. By the time the show canonically begins, most of the galaxy is pretty much gone, Scaling The Little Prince to this might sound simple at first.

If it wasn't for the fact that the Snake never destroys planets with brute force. Instead, he enjoys the suffering of the inhabitants until they themselves destroy their own planet. While you could argue he would be able to. We have seen the Snake grow to the size of planets multiple times, after all. The planets in The Little Prince universe work way more like pocket dimensions, each with their own constellations and solar systems, with doors in asteroids leading to the planets themselves, so while we have seen the snake outgrow the door, we haven't seen him outgrow what's inside it. Making his multiple claims of bringing the destruction of the universe, while true, not applicable in this situation.

Does The Little Prince actully scale to The Sky Children?
As you have most likely noticed, characters from Sky are pretty fucking fast. But here's something you probably didn't stop to think. Is a simple crossover enough to justify The Prince scaling to the verse? I mean, sure, he exists there and has interacted with a Sky Child, but is it enough to chain-scale him to MFTL+ speeds? Well, it's a bit weird but kind of? He has kept up with characters and has outrun a Sky Child; you could argue it's not the same thing considering the Eden feat was performed while flying, but even if you try to fly, you won't be able to reach the Prince. But admittedly, this is very flawed logic due to various reasons, with the main one being, it takes time to get to Eden and there's cleary speed being built up that isn't present in the ground.

Now, a better argument is the fact that while playing Hide & Seek, the Prince seemingly disappeared before the Sky Child could react. Of course, you can make an argument for him being faster in travel speed due to this, but what is clear is that he's clearly faster than the Sky Child's reaction speed. Which could likely be scaled to their travel speed due to the fact they can react to themselves flying around. It's not the most perfect logic, but you can definitely make arguments, and if you don't buy those, a lot of characters from the original book, like the king, the businessman, the lamplighter, etc. Are spirits in the event, and The Little Prince should 100% scale to them, so you can at least get him to 5 trillion times the speed of light. With all that being said, the prince doesn't scale to Sky Children in AP, so, sorry, no multi-solar system-level Little Prince.

Weakness
The Little Prince is very...naive, to say the least, and he gets tricked very easily, especially when he tries to help people that want to take advantage of him; furthermore, all of his abilities from the 2010 show/comic require stardust, which he has a limited supply of. Which he runs out of in the worst possible moments, he usually dosen't like fighting and pefers to resolve things by talking which leads to him being overpowered quickly due to not wanting to fight back. Oh, and also, he is french. Truly the most horrible weakness of all.

Possible Matchups
Peter Pan
  • Both characters share a deep connection with themes of childhood and growing up, living in distant places beyond the stars.
  • Both characters bring children on adventures in said distant places. (In TLP's case, this mostly fits the newest versions of the character.)
  • Both have small, stubborn companions with a temper (The Rose and Tinkerbell).
  • They usually use a type of dust as a way to perform superhuman feats (TLP using stardust to create other beings out of thin air and Peter Pan using fairy dust to fly).
  • Both have been alive for a very, very long time. And haven't aged a single day
  • While they can be childish on quite a few occasions, both are extremely judgmental of people around them.
Recently Peter Pan has been getting really popular in the VS community, specifically due to Hook vs. K. Rool, I actually made this matchup before I even started to work on this blog, and now that it's done? I have to say the fight potential holds up really well; of course, Peter Pan isn't exactly as varied as Hook, he has a bit of a limited arsenal. but with a composite, he does have enough to make this work. Besides, it's not like most of the prince's arsenal is made for fighting either. I feel like it's better off to limit it to the Disney version, however, due to the original and Disney version being entirely different characters. The debate all kind of depends if you buy Disney Scaling, however, which definitely kind of sucks and the connections...they definitly could use some work lol. They are extremely generic and very flawed overall. But…we do have another Disney matchup, and i do consider this one to be way more thematic than this...god, i really need to revamp this matchup.

Alice
  • Blond main characters from popular children's books that were adapted countless times.
  • Both books are largely centered around childhood innocence and curiosity and the loss of it upon growing up.
  • During their journey, both characters meet a variety of people. Being fascinated with them at first but eventually confused and frustrated. Such as extremely narcissistic people who think highly of themselves (The Caterpillar and The Conceited Man) or someone related to royalty (The Queen of Hearts and The King).
  • From the perspective of both characters, most of the people they meet are insane, usually spitting nonsense that makes little to no sense even though they share many elements with what happens in reality.
  • Both have fought tyrannical figures that rule lands with an iron fist, though they don't exactly "defeat" them conventionally.
  • Both have met a wise, animal companion during their travels that acts as their guide when they first got to a strange place. (Cheshire Cat and the Fox).
  • The ending sequence of Little Prince 2015 is tecnically a dream, which might mirror Alice dreaming of wonderland to The Gril dreaming of the universe of the book.
Yea, this is way better. Not exactly perfect but It's definitely a step up from Peter Pan's nothing-burger connections; it covers the surface themes of The Little Prince enough while also covering the adaptations. Now here's the main problem: how would the fight even work? Can Alice even fight in the first place? Well… I'm actually not sure, but considering the amount of material Disney characters have, I'm sure she has something. I mean, there are animated shows with hundreds upon hundreds of episodes, video games, comics, and crossovers. You can definitely get creative with some of it. The interaction potential is also great; there's surprisingly a lot of art with these two in it, so you can definitely get an idea of how they would interact.

Dr. Manhattan
I Have no idea what the connections are, i found this on reddit and, i'm confused but it's also really funny so, fuck it. Best for both.

Some Quick Words...
Wow, this took way more time than i thought. This has been worked on since Sans vs Judge, which was 4 MONTHS AGO! 4 months of consuming 82 years of content of this blond alien boy, honestly i'm really tired. BUT, we are working on some stuff that you might find neat.

Adam vs The Devil (Hazbin Hotel vs Snapcube)
This is actually almost done; we are hoping to get this out before season 2 comes out and makes the research outdated. We actually had to restart from scratch once because Blogger.com decided to be funny and delete everything. But that doesn't matter now because most of the research is finished, so expect the blog to come out before Hazbin Hotel season 2. This has been a lot of fun to work on and research.

Jimmy vs Dexter (Jimmy Neutron vs Dexter's Laboratory)
Oh boy… Okay, this blog has been worked on for a while, and now things got even harder since…well, I'm kinda the only one working on it. Everyone else is trying to get AdamDevil out before season 2, and it has just been difficult to research so much content. Progress has been very slow, so we will just start pushing out smaller blogs while this one cooks, but if someone is interested in joining the team to help with Jimmy vs. Dexter, I would definitely not be against it, y'know lol.
